The 4th largest semiconductor company launched two new Helio gaming Chipsets in the smartphone gaming-focused G series
The MediaTek Helio G25 & G35, Powered by the ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs, operating up to 2GHz & 2.3GHz for the MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 gaming chipsets. The chips feature IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPUs, with speeds of up to 650MHz for the MediaTek Helio G25 and up to 680 MHz for the MediaTek Helio G35.
Being an Octa-core processor built on a 12nm manufacturing process tech, all available cores are Cortex -A53 cores. These cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and can connect to up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM of 1,600MHz. For storage, it uses the eMMC 5.1 option.
The new chips feature MediaTek HyperEngine game technology for faster, enhanced power, Smother performance and brilliant graphics.
Aimed at the global smartphone base, the Chipsets offers the lowest latency gaming experience.
Meanwhile, Dr Yenchi Lee Deputy General Manager, Wireless communications Business unit, MediaTek had said:
“Certainly, mobile gaming is now the preferred mode of entertainment across market segments. MediaTek expanded its G-series to meet the huge demand for competitively priced, mainstream gaming smartphones,”
At the Photographic section, the G25 supports a single camera made of up to 21MP at 30Fps, while the G35 supports up to 25MP camera and has an AI-enhanced camera feature and even simulated bokeh effects. Other features include EIS(Electronic Image Stabilization), Rolling shutter compensation and multi-Noise reduction.
Connectivity of Chipsets
In addition, both chips feature integrated 4G LTE WorldMode modem, including essential dual 4G SIM Support making VOLTE/VILTE on both connections possible.
Chips are integrated with Wi-Fi5 and Bluetooth5 supporting Simultaneous coexistence
Moreover, the first smartphone that has implemented the chips is the Realme C11 which was launched on June 30 in Malaysia is powered by the G35 Soc and the Redmi 9A, both Smartphones are expected to be on the $100 budget.
