Design And Display

The design of the Note 10 Pro isn’t too different from what its predecessor the Note 8 Pro has (Yes I can count from 1-10 but it seems Infinix cannot ). The camera housing is to the right end of the rear and a side-mounted fingerprint that doubles as a power button. The speaker, a 3.5m audio jack, and a Type-C port all feature at the bottom. The display is a massive 6.95 inches (Phablet territory) and this is where the similarities with the Infinix Note 8 pro ends.

The display features an FHD+ screen (finally) which makes the Note 10 pro “Noteworthy”. Because trumps the 720p resolution available in Note 8 and gives a crispier media output. The display features a 90hz refresh rate and a punch-hole design at the center (which I love). The body is made of plastic and an unspecified version of gorilla glass is on the display.

Infinix Note 10 ProCamera

The Infinix Note 10 Pro features a 64mp +8mp + 2mp + 2mp on the rear camera. The shots from the Infinix Note 10 pro are very respectable, being able to shoot 4K at 30fps, but is not the best in its class in this ever-growing war of value for your money between smartphone makers. The selfie camera is a single 16MP camera. The rear camera offers EIS for smoother videos when in motion.

Battery And Performance

Now, this is where the Note 10 pro delivers its K.O. to its predecessor. Despite having the same 5000mah battery, it comes with a 33-watt charger in the box which is about 45% faster than the 18-watt brick included in the Note 8 pro. It takes about 1hr 37mins to charge from 0 to 100%. The battery pack can take you through the day as long as you are not tempted to go all bonkers on the phone.

The very capable Helio G95 is gaming-focused and will toss your everyday tasks about like no biggie. It can deliver good performance in heavy titles like PUBG, COD Mobile, and Genshin Impact (at medium settings) In short, your daily tasks are covered. Helped along by the 90Hz refresh rate this phone feels really fast.

Connectivity

The Note 10 Pro comes with all the necessary sensors and the Type-C port but no NFC.

Price And Availability

The price of the Note 10 pro ranges from NGN118,000 – NGN140,000 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. And is available in retail stores and online outlets.

Verdict

The performance of the Note 10pro is great and cannot be complained about at its price point. Good value for your money, Good speakers, a fast charger, and a beautiful design. However, there are better displays example Redmi Note 10 which has an AMOLED screen and makes it seem a little bit unfair for Infinix not to do the same. That aside, this phone just knocked its predecessor the Infinix Note 8 out of the water. All hail the king of the Infinix Note.
